The wind was howling all night so I got up at 4.30am in order to get a couple of hours windsurfing in before work. Got to the beach and there was a lovely 25 knot SW wind so I rigged my 5m and my wave board in super quick time, starting walking down the beach and the wind just completely died... From 25 knots to absolutely nothing in the blink of an eye.... Grrrrr! I'm just glad I didn't get on the water a few minutes before as that would have happened with me a mile out to sea leaving me with a VERY long swim back.
